Chiropractor
Duties and responsibilities: Chiropractors diagnose, treat
and prevent mechanical disorders of the musculature system and look at the
effect of these disorders on the function of the nervous system and general health.
Their aim is to relieve pain, increase mobility and to get patients back to
full health and movement. Treatment involves using the hands to apply a
specific force to adjust the joints of the body.
Salary: $34,283 - $109,664
Education: bachelor's degree in some states. Doctor of Chiropractic degree and
complete a clinical internship through an accredited four-year chiropractic
college program.
